How to make Seekh Kabab


Seekh kabab are tender and flavorful, seasoned with a variety of herbs and spices including lemon juice, cilantro, and mint leaves as well as ginger, garlic, green chilli pepper, powdered chilli, and garam masala. To further improve the flavour, additional fats are occasionally added. Seekh kabab are often eaten with naan breads or parathas and accompanied with raita, salad, onion slices, lemon wedges, or green chutney.

Beef Seekh kabab recipe

Ingredients of Seekh Kebab

  • 150 Gram mutton (keema, minced)
  • 100 gram chicken (minced)
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp onion paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 3/4 tsp pepper, powdered
  • 1 tsp dried mango powder
  • 1/4 tsp saunth (dry ginger powder)
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cashew paste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cream
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • to taste salt
  • for garnishing coriander leaves

Preparation of Beef seekh kabab

  1. Chicken and mutton mince should be combined in a bowl. You may combine them by hand.
  2.  Include the onion paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, powdered pepper, dried mango powder, saunth, oil, cashew paste, and cream in addition to the ginger-garlic paste. Mix well.
  3.  To bind, mix egg yolk and besan (chickpea flour). Mix thoroughly.
  4.  Taste and add salt. Mix. For one hour, freeze closed.
  5.  Grill or bake the kebabs until the surface is beautifully browned. Skewer them onto oiled skewers. While cooking, baste regularly with oil.
  6.  After the kebabs are finished cooking, transfer them to a serving tray and top with onion rings, lemon wedges, and fresh coriander leaves.

Chicken Seekh kabab recipe


  • Chicken mince ½ kg
  • Onion 2
  • Ginger 50
  • Garlic 10 cloves
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Nutmeg ½ tsp
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Black pepper 2 tsp

Ingredients For Sauce:

  • Garlic 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 4 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp

Preparation of Chicken Seekh kabab

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend. Make little balls now, stitch them on a skewer, and steam them. Then put 4 tablespoons of oil and garlic cook in a second pan. Then, combine the sauce’s components and drizzle it over the kabab. After that, serve and smoke.
